Hyperhidrosis Toronto - Systemic Treatments
In certain rare cases pills are used to treat hyperhidrosis systemically. The use of pills to treat Dr Krakowsky’s Toronto hyperhidrosis
patients is usually discouraged because of adverse side effects. Pills prescribed to control excessive sweating
can cause side effects including dryness of the mouth, jitters, headaches, blurred vision, constipation, and increased heartbeat. In general, Because of this reason, hyperhidrosis pills are only prescribed for short-term use in rare cases. Dr Krakowsky does not use prescription pills as a method of hyperhidrosis treatment because Botox Hyperhidrosis injections have proven to be the most effective, longest lasting hyperhidrosis treatment with virtually no side effects.
It should be noted that a small segment of the population can tolerate hyperhidrosis pills well and do indeed find them effective in treatment of hyperhidrosis. However, the large number of people with adverse reaction to these pills renders treating hyperhidrosis with pills all but impractical.
